Lovers Entwined...
Like fairy tales they seem
to know the ending.
Senses aflame...
The steam begins to heavy moisten.
Down-pouring everywhere
They run for cover.

Sweet soothing music
that once lulled the heart
is no longer heard in the midst
of the wave of thunder.
The cry of the wind,
the shimmering sky
holds their attention,
but only for a moments time.

Overtaken by the scene
they deny the thrill...
till they are crippled
in the still of their quest.
They stop to surrender
